DALLAS HEARING FOUNDATION CELEBRATES LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF “HEARING”
AT PARK CITIES ANNUAL FOURTH OF JULY PARADE
DHF promotes "Holidays in July" float to attract attention to their Sounds of the Season gala on December 19th at Union Station downtown


WHO/WHAT: The Dallas Hearing Foundation is excited to support the local community by participating in the Park Cities annual 4th of July Parade.
WHEN: Saturday, July 4, 2009, 9:00 a.m.
WHERE: 4700 Drexel Drive, Dallas, Texas 75225 (Highland Park Town Hall)
*The parade begins on Euclid Avenue near the Highland Park Town Hall. It will travel up Preston Road and on University Boulevard, and then wind its way to the back side of Goar Park in University Park
WHY: The Dallas Hearing Foundation wants to celebrate with the community the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness that the foundation hopes to provide Dallas through its efforts to give the gift of hearing to those who cannot hear. The Dallas Hearing Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to providing a hearing/speaking life and quality education to many deaf children and adults through medical and surgical treatments, hearing technologies, speech and hearing rehabilitation, and educational support for patients with hearing loss in financial need. DHF uses revolutionary technologies such as digital hearing aids, cochlear implants, and auditory-verbal therapy.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: The DHF float along with their booth will have a “Christmas in July” theme, including SANTA giving the gift of sound! Also, local patients of the Dallas Hearing Foundation will ride the float and attend the festivities following the parade, providing a great photo opportunity!!
